Sustainable Conferencing
The conference organisers are committed to providing a sustainable conference for the New Zealand Association for Environmental Education. Some of the measures being taken include:
- No printed copies circulated of the Registration Brochure and Call for Abstracts (web and email copies only)
- Providing an online registration system to avoid the need for hard copy registration forms
- Providing accommodation within easy walking distance of the conference venue
- Ensuring all tea and coffee served is fair trade
- No plastic wrapping or disposable products will be used during the conference
- Providing locally sourced and organic produce for meals
Delegates are encouraged to take sustainable transport to the conference and take actions to minimise their carbon footprint.
